Add House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to the long list of women Donald Trump thinks are “nasty.” Trump used the occasion of the D-Day anniversary to lash out at Pelosi over her comment that, rather than impeaching Trump, she wanted to see him in prison.
“I actually don't think she's a talented person,” Trump said, projecting like a fiend. “I've tried to be nice to her because I would've liked to have gotten some deals done. She's incapable of doing deals.” Said the man who’s been unable to do deals about one of the most accomplished House speakers in history, as basically a complaint that she won’t do his kind of (bad) deals.
“She's a nasty, vindictive, horrible person,” Trump added. Mooooommmm, Nancy was mean to me! Also in Trump’s arsenal of insults in that interview, which, again, happened during the ceremony honoring veterans on the 75th anniversary of D-Day: “terrible person,” “disaster,” “Nervous Nancy … because she’s a nervous wreck.” All this about a woman who’s working against impeachment.
Women Trump has previously called “nasty” include Hillary Clinton, Sens. Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren, and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.
