If they ever was an example that proves that Trump is a malignant narcissist it was his interactions with the refuges yesterday, if you can call what transpired an interaction which always requires two-way communication.
HuffPost featured it on their front page today:
Yesterday this Daily Kos story prompted 378 comments:
Much has been said about how egregious this all was and there’s no need for me to weigh in on it.
Of course this occurred at the end of a week where Trump was forced to try to walk back his 13 seconds of approval to his “patriotic” rally crowds when they chanted “send her back.”
What I am curious about is why it was set up in the first place.
What do you think?
1) Did his advisors plan for Trump to demonstrate to his racist white nationalist base that he couldn’t give two turds about the suffering of third world refuges?
2) Or was someone in the position to arrange such photo ops wanted to showcase how empathic the president is and prove that he really wasn’t a racist?
Of course the president is not only incapable of experiencing empathy, but he doesn’t even know what it looks like. Therefore he can’t even fake it.
If the answer is number 2 I have to ask how far up the president’s colon does whoever arranged this have their head to think this would make Trump look presidential?
