Glacier National Park, an area carved out by ancient glaciers, is known for its spectacular scenery which includes snowcapped mountains, clean lakes, waterfalls, and an occasional glacier. These are the things that the tourists see while attempting to drive the Going-to-the-Sun Road or having lunch in the Many Glacier Lodge. These fantastic views are not shown in the photos below. The photos below show some of the rather mundane views of the park in the campgrounds and along the non-mountain hiking/biking trails.
