Reposted for night owls:
Now that the dust has settled from the first debates, and the candidates have had time to clarify positions and points taken, I think we can all safely draw a few conclusions.
A. We have some amazing candidates. Experienced. Passionate. Honest. Knowledgeable.
B. There are definite leaders emerging from the group. Poll after poll is showing the trend.

Question: (If Democrat or Democratic leaner) Regardless of how you intend to vote in the Democratic primary for president, which candidate do you think has the best chance of winning against Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election? *
*(Biden-22%, Sanders-13%, Harris-20%, Warren-14%, Booker-3%, Buttigieg-4%)
Rolling Stone very recently posted this informative article, The RS Politics 2020 Democratic Primary Leaderboard, that ordered the top Democratic candidates like this:
1. Biden
2. Warren
3. Harris
4. Sanders
5. Buttigieg
6. Booker
7. Castro
8. Klobuchar
(and so on...including great information and helpful links to each of their campaigns.)
So, just for fun, and in the spirit of unity, with a dose of reality thrown in, I propose a little poll of our own, to acknowledge the “leaderboard” such that it is now. But with a twist, in a simple way, to help us try to get our brains around the concept from the outset that...
..We might not always get what we want, but if we try sometime, we (can) get what we need.
The Poll
We get to choose from the current list of the top 6 “leaders” our top two choices for president. We are not voting for a “ticket” or a team. We are voting for the two people we would be most willing to get out there and work our butts off to help make them the next president. Not necessarily just who can “win” but also who can “do the job.” And — let’s deal in facts, ‘cause odds are lots of us are going to be disappointed — if the person we feel the most passionate about doesn’t win the primaries, who would be our next choice for president?
Please feel free to respond in the comments, but remember the Kamala2020 Daily Kos group is a positive space for all candidates, and there will be no “attacks” allowed on anyone.

Obviously, it’s not possible to include all the possible combinations all of the democratic candidates, (or even the top ten) without being ridiculously cumbersome. So for clarity’s sake, I used only the top six “leaders” from the two sources provided, it seems appropriate at this point in time.
Maybe it will give us an idea of how we’re feeling about mixing it up. Maybe it will show us something else. But let’s have fun and stay positive.
We all wanna get there — to a country that doesn’t have a nightmare for a president!
“We have an embarrassment of riches among the Democrats who are running.”
Okay then, let’s get rockin’ and rollin’ — it’s time to take back the night! ______________________________________________________________________________________

Group Guidelines
The Kamala2020 community group has been created to positively support Senator Kamala Harris, and not to engage in negativity towards other Democrats running in the 2020 primaries.
All should be made to feel welcomed here. What’s notwelcomed here is petty bickering over any of our preferred candidates, or personal attacks on fellow Democrats. We’re not responsible for the actions of others who may offend, insult or attempt to sow discord and disunity — that’s on them.
What we are responsible for are our own words and actions — that’s 100% on us.
I’d like to ask all group members, as well as those dropping by who support or are interested in Kamala’s bid for the nomination, that we not respond to negativity from other campaign’s supporters with even more negativity. Let’s do better than our best and respond with respect, humor or try to hold our peace. Recipes and cat pics work, too 😃
Doing no harm costs us nothing... pie-fights will cost us everything.

Good Evening! I’m going to repost this piece, just this one time, hoping some of the DK folk who hang out in the PM get a chance to weigh in. The Kamala2020 usually roll off before some of my old friends show up ;)
Hope no one minds!
BTW — I just took a screen shot of the poll as it stands now, in case we want to compare later. Already there are a few interesting trends. And one very obvious one!
