What’s up with that picture of Kamala at the Border?

You may have seen this picture floating around on the tubes.  I was curious about this picture and where it came from so I did some research.

In summary, this picture was from 2011 when AG Harris visited the Mexico- California border as part of a statewide effort to bust transnational drug gangs.  If you are interested in learning more about their efforts on that front, I have some press releases from oag.ca.gov.
