I’m just finishing a book written by Michael Moore titled “Here Comes Trouble,” published in 2011and I swear he is either Psychic or confused.
On page 278 of said book he writes as follows:
“The pancake makeup on him was so overdone, so thick and caked, that his face was like a slab of petrified orange, and his attempts to smile were somehow being impeded by the plaster that had been put on his mug.
Then on page 279, he writes:
“He had committed war crimes so heinous that we still live with the legacy of his actions to this day. We lost our moral compass with him and we’ve never gotten it back. We no longer know when we’re the good guys and when we’re the terrorists.”
Now it’s obvious he was writing about Tricky Dick in that book but if you read those quotes carefully, which of them doesn’t apply to Dastardly Don? All I had to do was change the war reference from the Vietnam War to the war on Immigrants and the transformation is complete.
The thing that terrifies me is that we’re talking about a roughly 50 year time difference and 50 years from now, it will apply equally to both men. The war on immigrants much like the war in Vietnam has led to countless deaths that the government of the United States is directly responsible for and just like Nixon did almost 50 years ago, led to the division of people in this country into opposite camps that in and of itself will inevitably lead to countless more lives lost and most importantly, the further loss of our moral compass that may well be irredeemable.
Please do whatever you can to be a foot soldier in this fight for the soul of our nation, because much as climate change is our fight to win or forever lose, this fight is just as important and MUST BE WON!!!!
