Everyone is concentrating on the presidency and rightfully so, but we should not forget the senate. There is a very good chance that we could flip the senate if turnout is where I think it will be.
I think that Susan Collins is vulnerable in Maine and so is Cory Gardner in Colorado. I think that Beto O’Rourke could be a viable challenger in Texas with the infrastructure that he developed in his last senatorial race. Steve Bullock should consider getting into the race in Montana. He a very popular ex governor and he has won statewide. Arizona has shown that it is a promising race for a strong candidate.
Georgia and North Carolina are two states that the democrats should go after. The demographics in both of those state bode well for a them. Getting a viable candidate is important. Stacy Abrams could solve that problem in Georgia and I’m sure there are some good candidates in North Carolina.
Doug Jones has a monumental task of trying to hold on to his seat in Alabama. It is certainly possible for him to win but the odds are against him.
Pick a race and do whatever you can to help the democrat win. This is the only way that we can make our aspirations come through.
