Scotland’s government will be answering some questions as a big story just recently broke in the The Scotsman. According to the newspaper, Glasgow Prestwick Airport’s “promotional materials,” given to curry favor with the U.S. military, singles out Trump-owned Turnberry resort as the only hotel mentioned.

The document, prepared by the Scottish Government owned airport and handed out at ‘closed’ meetings with US Armed Forces personnel, emphasises the “five star” status of the US president’s flagship Scottish property, even noting how it has been “newly refurbished.”
According to The Scotsman, sources familiar with a meeting of Prestwick officials and military, say that the airport pitched rounds of golf at Trump’s resort for military personnel stuck in layovers. Getting the United States military to use your airfield means a lot of money, and clearly the Scottish government believes that the best way to play with the United States is to pay. The Scotsman reports that officials deny that there is any sort of “commercial relationship” between the airport and Trump’s Turnberry resort, but the materials obtained by the paper seem to contradict that statement.
Scotland’s transport secretary, Michael Matheson, has already admitted that the airport’s staff will arrange Turnberry trips for U.S. aircrews, but he said that was only by request. This comes just a week after a report came out detailing dozens of expensive trips taken by the U.S. Air Force to “refuel at a higher cost,” and stay at Trump’s Turnberry—all on the American taxpayer’s dime.
The suspected Ukraine-extortion scheme run by our White House, that has finally tipped the scales and begun an impeachment inquiry of President Trump, is just one of his many impeachable corruption of office. The fact is, the entire world knows that our government’s money is for sale to whoever or whatever is willing to pay a tithe to the Donald.
