In North America, the steam tractor was an important agricultural innovation in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The steam tractors were used extensively for thrashing grain as well as for plowing. The Powerland Heritage Park in Brooks, Oregon is the home to fourteen different museums, including a collection of steam tractors.
