As his personal lawyer made incessant attempts to implicate the State Department in the Trump-Ukraine scandal, and Republican lawmakers, top suck-ups aside, continued to largely whiff in their defenses of Trump's newest high crime and/or misdemeanor, Stable Genius Donald Trump spent the weekend being very stable, and a genius.
Or as writer southpaw put it, “Is [...] the President of the United States name searching Ed Henry and retweeting whatever negative stuff he finds?”
Yup. For reasons discernible only to His Pumpkinness, Trump posted almost two dozen early-morning Sunday tweets and retweets attacking Fox News host Ed Henry, who was allegedly torn "to shreds" at the hands of "the Great One" ... Mark Levin? (If you don't know who Mark Levin is, he is the Britney Spears of Rush Limbaughs, or ... something. Suffice it to say he doesn't think Donald Trump should be impeached and was displeased by Henry's characterization of the Ukraine scandal as being untoward. If you want to know more than that, you're on your own—we're already about four circles too deep in the conservative pundit inferno and the demons here speak a language surface-dwellers are hard-pressed to decipher.)
This led to the sitting president of the United States retweeting comments such as, "Mark Levin sure put that lying shit head Ed Henry in his place didn't he?"
But the evidence that Trump, or Ivanka, or possibly Barron spent a large chunk of his Sunday morning executive time searching for “Ed Henry” putdowns on Twitter comes from some of the accounts Trump stumbled upon to retweet. For example, Trump retweeted a bot that exists solely to collect Trump's tweets and replace one of the nouns with the word "shark."
It is true. Not many people know that Ed Henry is the kingpin behind the pro-shark media; only someone with the great mind of Donald Trump can suss such things out.
Donald is clearly as calm as a cucumber, as he and his advisers watch the Ukraine scandal deepen around him. As somnolent as a salad, he is. As torpid as a tomatillo.
As pissy as a pumpkin.
