Happy New Year. This week was mostly a lot of smaller controversies. The Trump administration shut down a federal database that tracks pollution, while the backlog of toxic waste cleanups extended to a 15 year high. Moreover, documents were released revealing that Trump had directly ordered a halt to aid to Ukraine.
As always, I don’t expect to catch everything, so let me know if there’s anything you think I’ve missed. The full omnibus is being maintained here (a spreadsheet version can be found here). For an overall summary, click here.
