In case you've not noticed, there is a progressive revolution going on, an attempt at creating a system that essentially promotes a separation of Wealth and State.
As has previously happened in history, a privileged elite is usurping resources, but this time, it is Worldwide, although the damage to the standard of living in the US ought to be quite obvious for anyone who can see.
We are in a time when elections are at hand, and facing a choice between two corrupt parties, neither of which have the citizens welfare in mind. The majority of these House and Senate representatives are merely bought and paid for creatures of the very wealthy.
However, there is hope.
In 2016, Bernie Sanders demonstrated that it was possible to successfully run a grass-roots campaign exclusively based on small donations, and refusing money from the very wealthy.
This is nothing short of a revolution.
I would call this means of obtaining legitimate access to the halls of power, Electoral Progressivism, and it can be practiced across the entire political spectrum.
The Democratic Party which used to be a champion of the citizenry has over the decades become nothing more than a convenient tool of the very wealthy, a convenience they use in order to advance their desires. This usually translates into obtaining more and more profit at the expense of the tax-payer.
The revolutionary concept of Electoral Progressivism has recently allowed for the introduction of grass-root elected officials into this den of money changers, and for anybody who has been following politics, their appearance has been eye-opening to say the least; their existence a stark contrast to the corrupt individuals that have compromised their oath to the people.
Introducing more Electoral Progressives into government is going to be a long hard road, possibly spanning decades. Undoing the damage that has been wrought will not be easy; there will be hard-fought battles ahead.
This brings us to the present election.
Despite being by far the most popular candidate, Bernie Sanders is likely to railroaded (again,) by the corporate Democrats that presently infest the party.
These will then insist that you vote for their candidate, because they will tell you, this candidate is the lesser of two evils.
This is not true.
The Republican and Democratic candidates that they offer up are the same loathsome monsters, just with different stripes.
Do NOT vote for them.
From elected dog-catcher, to Congress to President, let us break the chain by replacing officials through Electoral Progressivism.
Many will not know any better, but there will be friends and relatives who will condemn you for refusing to vote for these compromised corporate candidates. You will be subject to much scapegoating.
Those who vote for yet another corrupt candidate in expectation of a short term gain will feel an urgent need to insist that others be dragged along to assuage their own compromise and guilt for betraying what is essentially an ongoing revolution.
And when the awful replacement candidate they insist you vote for quite predictably fails to win?
You will have to be prepared for the indignant finger-waggers who will be looking for scapegoats, angry that they expended their moral compass on such a worthless candidate to no gain. Surely, the blame must lie with those who did not sell out and stayed the course.
This will be your lot.
Only know that you are not alone and over time we will prevail.
