Indicted Giuliani associate Lev Parnas released more recordings (video and audio) Thursday in which he and his sidekick Igor Fruman hobnobbed with an intimate group of GOP donors in April 2018 at Trump's Mara-a-Lago resort.
The meeting took place just 10 days before the pair dined with Trump at his Washington hotel, according to the Washington Post. Both men later became an integral part of Rudy Giulani's Ukraine scheme to dig up dirt on Trump's political rivals. Former Texas Congressman Pete Sessions and RNC chair Ronna McDaniel make guest appearances in the recordings. The nearly two-minute video and 40-minute audio recording are just the latest in a long line of disclosures by Parnas proving how deeply embedded he was in Trump's circles, despite Trump's claims to the contrary. In fact, the prolific documentation of the Trump-Parnas interactions are pretty astounding once they are all aggregated in one place. The Post did just that, documenting 11 separate instances between March 2014 and December 2018 in which Trump and Parnas socialized "in proximity to one another," including several in which the two reportedly engaged in political discourse.
Here’s the new April 2018 video, in which Trump can be heard discussing poll numbers in advance of the midterms.
The audio can be found at the end of this Daily Beast piece.
