This week the most interesting things that have happened as we close in on the election is the fact that Trump is on drugs and has been losing his mind. Yes, really, even more than normal.
Also a pack of Boogaloo Bois tried to hatch a plot to kidnap and “put on trial” Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer because… masks.
The rate of Covid case is again on the rise with increased infection rates and positivity rates, it’s fairly ironic that Captain Covid got himself infected this past week by pretending that the pandemic was completely over. He got infected, his press secretary and four of her staffer got infected. Hope Hicks got infected. Steven Miller got infected. Three U.S. Senators got infected. Staff on the Joint Chiefs got infected.
When it first happened, Trump tried to hide it.
According to the report, Trump attempted to hide his first rapid test that gave him a positive test result. Oddly, Trump was supposed to take a COVID test on Tuesday upon arriving at the debate site, but he arrived “too late” to be tested. So far, 11 Ohio people at the debate site have now tested positive for COVID.
“Mr. Trump received a positive result on Thursday evening before making an appearance on Fox News in which he didn’t reveal those results,” said the Journal. “Instead, he confirmed earlier reports that one of his top aides had tested positive for coronavirus and mentioned the second test he had taken that night for which he was awaiting results.”
[...]
“Under White House protocols, the more reliable test that screens a specimen from deeper in the nasal passage is administered only after a rapid test shows a positive reading. Based on people familiar with the matter, the president’s tests followed that protocol,” said the Journal.
As the virus was spreading, the report also said that Trump asked one adviser not to disclose people were coming up positive for the virus. “Don’t tell anyone, Trump reportedly said, according to the Journal’s interview with a person familiar with the conversation.
All this apparently occurred because Trump decided to have a super-spread nomination event for his latest Stepford Judge, Amy Coney Barret who is the member of a creepy men’s-rights Catholic cult.
Today, just nine days after he came down with symptoms, he’s having yet another public event at the WH where social distance and masks are optional. He claims that he’s been cured by the Regeneron drug cocktail which happens to have been created using stems cells from an aborted fetus.
According to Trump’s personal physician, Dr. Sean Conley, the president received a high-dose infusion of monoclonal antibodies last Friday as part of his treatment for COVID-19 infection. Trump was one of the first 10 patients who received the treatment under “compassionate use” emergency access, Salon earlier reported. Several hours after the injection, the president was flown to Walter Reed Medical Center.
The fully-human antibody molecules, made by the pharmaceutical company Regeneron, come from two sources: antibodies identified from humans who have recovered from COVID-19 and the company’s “VelocImmune” mice, which have been genetically modified to have a human immune system, according to a statement provided to Salon by the drug manufacturer.
The lab tests used to evaluate the effectiveness of the antibodies were derived from what the MIT Technology Review pointed out was a standard cell supply known as HEK 293T. It originated as kidney tissue derived from an abortion in the Netherlands in 1973, the same year Roe v. Wade was decided.
It is interesting that he didn't take Hydroxychloroquine at all, and some people are pissed about it.
Dr. Stella Immanuel, the Houston-based doctor and preacher who specializes in demons and alien DNA, was part of a group of doctors who in July falsely declared hydroxychloroquine a “cure” for COVID-19. Trump shared a video of the group on his Twitter account and subsequently called Immanuel “very impressive.”
So Immanuel was understandably disappointed when hydroxychloroquine wasn’t mentioned on the White House press release detailing Trump’s treatment plan.
“Whoever told the president to stop taking HCQ should be punched in the face,” she wrote on Twitter Friday.
Wow, that’s pretty strong talk from the demon-sperm Doctor. Coincidentally, Trump has stock in Regeneron, what a coinky dink?
So Trump is having his new Super-spreader event today, and he hasn’t been tested to make sure he’s negative for Covid yet. I mean, really, man? Really?
President Donald Trump is pushing ahead with an appearance at a White House gathering on Saturday, even though he has not yet publicly announced a negative test for coronavirus which CDC officials have said is a definitive benchmark for determining whether a person who contracted COVID-19 is still contagious.
“I haven’t even found out numbers or anything yet, but I’ve been retested and I know I’m at either the bottom of the scale or free,” Trump told Fox News’ medical analyst Dr. Marc Siegel during an interview on Friday. “They test every couple of days, I guess, but it’s really at a level now that’s been great — great to see it disappear.”
The fact that Trump is unable to say whether or not he has tested negative for coronavirus, comes as he prepares to deliver another speech from the White House balcony with roughly 2,000 people present and potentially at risk of infection.
Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden tore into the President, calling his behavior “reckless.”
This guy just doesn't learn. If you give him advice and an array of options, he’s gonna go for the worst possible choice each and every time. The wrong decision, always. He’s like hard-wired to be a contrarian, he thinks he’s the smartest guy in every room so he doesn’t listen to anyone else. He doesn’t listen to his doctors, he doesn’t listen to his national security people, he doesn’t listen to his intel briefers when they talk about Russia. He’s a disaster.
Speaking of disasters, there’s also this pack of numb nuts who had planned to kidnap and kill Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
The FBI intervened in an alleged militia plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D), according to court records and remarks by federal and state officials Thursday. Six men face federal charges and seven others face state charges in connection with the plot, authorities said Thursday. All of them are in custody.
The plot allegedly included surveillance of Whitmer’s vacation home and construction of an improvised explosive device using a firework.
In July, one of the alleged kidnapping plotters, Adam Fox, described the plan as a “snatch and grab” to an FBI informant, according to an affidavit filed in federal court.
“Grab the fuckin’ governor,” he allegedly said. “Just grab the bitch. Because at that point, we do that, dude — it’s over.”
A militia group referenced in the federal charges is the “Wolverine Watchmen,” Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said at a press conference Thursday.
Nessel announced a slew of separate state charges against seven defendants not named in the federal case who appear to be connected to Wolverine Watchmen.
“Several members talked about murdering ‘tyrants’ or ‘taking’ a sitting governor,” one FBI agent alleged in the affidavit. “The group decided they needed to increase their numbers and encouraged each other to talk to their neighbors and spread their message.”
It's pretty ironic that this happened considering the fact that Rep. Jayapal had grilled Bill Barr on this exactly issue, threats against the Michigan Governor, and he was apparently out of the loop on it — or lying under oath.
“Can I bring up a point that no one seems to be talking about?” Nessel asked the host. “Over the summer United States Attorney General Bill Barr testified under oath before the House Judiciary Committee that he had no idea that there were any threats being made at all to the governor of the state of Michigan.”
She then added, “And yet, his own authorities were actively working to foil these types of plans and these threats, which seems very curious to me that either, A: he didn’t know what was happening in his own Justice Department or, B: he committed perjury.”
I’m frankly not sure which is worse. That the FBI was conducting a major undercover operation against the “Wolverine Watchmen” and somehow the US Attorney General knew nothing about it, or the fact that he did know something about it and lied while under oath.
It appears that many of these guys apparently met at previous State House rallies against masks and the Covid shutdown, where Trump called them…. “very good people.”
United States President Donald Trump on Friday voiced support for protesters, some armed with rifles, after they entered the capitol building in the US state of Michigan and demanded that Governor Gretchen Whitmer lift strict coronavirus lockdown orders, causing some lawmakers to reportedly don bulletproof vests.
“The Governor of Michigan should give a little, and put out the fire,” Trump tweeted. “These are very good people, but they are angry. They want their lives back again, safely! See them, talk to them, make a deal.”
Yeah, um, no. Just no. These fuckers are dangerous.
And since this has happened Trump has again slammed Whitmer rather than offer any help or comfort.
Following the FBI’s announcement on Thursday, Whitmer had slammed Trump over his refusal to denounce right-wing extremist groups, particularly white supremacists, during the first presidential debate less than two weeks ago.
“Hate groups heard the President’s words not as a rebuke but as a rallying cry, as a call to action,” said the governor.
In response, Trump tweeted that Whitmer “has done a terrible job” with her emergency restrictions amid the COVID-19 pandemic; restrictions that had allegedly infuriated the 13 charged suspects in the FBI case to the point where they allegedly devised a scheme in which they would kidnap Whitmer and put her “on trial.” Several of the suspects allegedly floated the possibility of killing the governor.
The President also complained about Whitmer’s lack of gratitude toward him personally after the feds foiled the kidnapping plot on Thursday.
“My Justice Department and Federal Law Enforcement announced today that they foiled a dangerous plot against the Governor of Michigan,” he tweeted. “Rather than say thank you, she calls me a White Supremacist—while Biden and Democrats refuse to condemn Antifa, Anarchists, Looters and Mobs that burn down Democrat run cities.”
On top of all this and Trump’s crazy-assed behavior, we also have a report that he may have again committed tax fraud in order to benefit his campaign in 2016.
The New York Times on Friday revealed that President Donald Trump in 2016 executed a highly unusual maneuver to free up millions in cash that tax experts say could have been illegal.
In examining the president’s tax returns, the Times uncovered a $21 million windfall that the president received in 2016 from a Las Vegas hotel that he co-owns with casino mogul Phil Ruffin.
“The bulk of the money went through a company called Trump Las Vegas Sales and Marketing that had little previous income, no clear business purpose and no employees,” the Times writes. “The Trump-Ruffin joint venture wrote it all off as a business expense.”
This transaction, which tax experts told the Times was “highly unusual,” came just as Trump injected $10 million of his own money into his presidential campaign.
[...]
“Why all of a sudden does this company have more than $20 million in fees that haven’t been there before?” Daniel Shaviro, a professor of taxation at the New York University School of Law, asked the Times when shown documentation of the transaction. “And all of this money is going to a man who just happens to be running for president and might not have a lot of cash on hand?”
Apparently, with Phil Ruffin signing off, Trump’s Vegas casino took out a $30 Million loan then immediately “spent” $21 million of that on another Trump company. That company passed the money to another company, then another. Eventually $10 million of that money wound up in Trump presidential campaign coffers. And then the casino wrote the $21 million off their taxes as a loss, so basically Trump's self-donation to his own campaign using a loan was paid for by the taxpayers.
Fucking despicable.
He also plotted to inflate his wealth and leave his kids with a $Billion tax bill according to Michael Cohen.
“I’ve told the story where one time I’m sitting in the office, and he basically went from $7 billion to being worth to $8 billion in under ten seconds,” Cohen recalled. “First it was, ‘I wanted to show I have $7 billion.’ Then ‘I’m worth $7 billion’ before the conversation finished it’s, ‘let’s make it $8 billion.”
“Now what we had to do, Allen and myself, is go through all of the assets and see if we can’t manipulate the numbers,” he continued. “Whatever we could do to increase it. The problem was: who were we fooling? We weren’t fooling anybody. Then Weisselberg said that may not the smartest idea, we’ll have a tax bill we can’t deal with if you drop dead tomorrow and that will be on the kids. He [Trump] said, ‘well, that’s okay. I’ll be dead, let them deal with it.'”
“That’s the callousness of Donald J. Trump,” he added.
Yeah… Dad of the year.
Amid all this there was a Vice Presidential debate where VP Pence wouldn't shut up and showed up with a fly on his head and pinkeye.
Vice President Mike Pence appeared to have red eyes during Wednesday night’s debate, leading many to speculate why.
But one medical doctor says the vice president is suffering from conjunctivitis, more commonly called “pink eye.”
Dr. Jonathan Reiner is the director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at The George Washington University Hospital and professor of medicine at The George Washington University Medical Center.
