Dr. Anthony Fauci is the nation’s top infectious disease expert with a career spanning six administrations. He has seen and gotten along with all. His relationship with the current administration can best be described, at best, as “complicated.” Over the course of the last year, tRump has attempted to do to Fauci what he has done to everyone else in his maladministration: dominate him in an attempt to corrupt and ultimately break him. Fauci has firmly but politely resisted the political pressure. At times he bent, but he never broke. Due to his incorruptibility, tRump eventually sidelined Fauci from the corona virus task force.
Last Friday (I know it feels like an eternity ago), Dr. Fauci reemerged into the limelight, taking on the White House for its reckless approach to the corona virus:
“The government’s top infectious disease expert, said Friday that there was a “superspreader event” at the White House late last month, a stark assessment of the string of positive coronavirus cases among the president and top aides.
“Well, I think the data speak for themselves. We had a superspreader event in the White House, and it was in a situation where people were crowded together and were not wearing masks,” Fauci told CBS News Radio.

In an unintentional ode to Brave New World, the following day, the Trump campaign began running TV ads using out of context video clips of Dr. Fauci to create the false impression that Dr. Fauci supports tRump’s reelection campaign. Dr. Fauci was clearly upset about the ad and issued a statement to CNN on Sunday, stating: "the comments attributed to me without my permission in the GOP campaign ad were taken out of context from a broad statement I made months ago about the efforts of federal public health officials."
The Trump campaign’s entirely predictable response was to double down. It refused to either admit error or take the ad down. According to Trump Campaign Communications Director Tim Murtaugh: "These are Dr. Fauci's own words… directly from Dr. Fauci's mouth." To hell with context. (I added that).
On Monday, Fauci went on national television and drew a line in the sand.
“It's so clear that I'm not a political person," the nation's leading infectious disease expert told CNN's Jake Tapper on "The Lead." And I have never -- either directly or indirectly -- endorsed a political candidate. And to take a completely out of context statement and put it in which is obviously a political campaign ad, I thought was really very disappointing."
Asked about the possibility of being featured in future Trump campaign ads, Fauci maintained, "That would be terrible." "I hope they don't do that because that would be kind of playing a game that we don't want to play."

It looks like Dr. Fauci is prepared for war. If the tRump campaign doesn’t back down, it might be very sorry.
In the meantime, the Biden campaign has already made a laughing stock out of tRump with a new video that mocks tRump for taking Dr.Fauci out of context. The video been up for less than a day and it already has over 2.3 million views on Twitter. If you haven’t seen it, it is worth a look. It is absolutely hilarious.
So, here’s a message from the President in his own words. pic.twitter.com/WCYbIfrQLR

You can view the video in this diary: https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2020/10/12/1985994/-Biden-ad-takes-Trump-out-of-context-and-it-s-brilliant
There is also a powerful new ad by Republican Voters Against Trump that features a former tRump administration official who absolutely demolishes tRump in regards to Dr. Fauci. https://twitter.com/i/status/1315824092164116481 This ad started is currently airing on national television, and will reportedly play on Fox and Friends this week. I won’t be viewing the ad on F&F, but I know one individual who will. Individual One.
If tRump was sane he would have learned his lesson by now. But he is what he is and is incapable of learning anything, so I expect that this story is not over.
21 days until the election. 21 days until sanity returns. Vote--Biden.
I apologize for not having proper formatting. I am still learning how to do this.
