Some perspective, in 2016, in all of Harris County on Election Day, Donald Trump only got 131,328 votes...
Early voting began today in Harris County, home to more people than 27 other smaller states, and the Clerk of Courts just confirmed 45 minutes ago that we’ve already crushed the 1 day record in EV, higher infact than any day prior, including the very last day of the 2016 cycle which saw Hillary net +150,000 more votes in Harris County than Donald.

And if you want to be part of the history first day, you can see the wait times live here:

Some locations are showing over 200+ people in line. There are several drive through voting locations, and there will be multiple locations on Oct. 29th that will be open 24 hours that day. There will be voting on Saturday & Sunday too if you work. Personally, we’ll vote tomorrow, hoping to catch a shorter line and break today’s record. I know my neighbors both voted today, as well as a friend whose teenage children all cast their very first vote today for Joe Biden & Kamala Harris (And MJ Hegar).
GOTV!
In 2016, there were 99,507 total absentee mail ballots received. The county has mailed 238,062!!
