Perdue and Loeffler have a serious Trump problem. Support him too much, and the Republicans that hate Trump will abandon you. Support him too little, and the Trumpites will abandon you. It’s a dilemma that is playing out across the whole Republican Party. So far, we have seen the Georgian pair interested in cuddling up to Trump, since the election was close.
We will never get them to abandon Trump, so we should try to get them to cuddle up to Trump even more. That would have the effect of demotivating the anti-Trump faction of the Republican voters and cause them to not vote on Jan. 5. It would also motivate Democrats to be sure to get out and vote against Trump again. Without Trump on the ballot, I think a lot of Trumpites will stay home no matter how much love they spout for the defeated Trump.
So, the survey below mimics what I think should be conducted state-wide. We know what the result here will be, but GA Republican voters may want to know what their fellow Republicans think.
I abbreviated it to a single question that lumps the two together. Obviously, a real survey of voters could distinguish between the two.
