Transcript:
Hi, this is Stacey Abrams, here on behalf of Deborah Gonzalez, who is running for District Attorney of the Western District Judicial Circuit in Athens during the December 1st runoff election.
Deborah is a local attorney and an advocate for fairness and justice. She’s ready to tackle criminal justice reforms in Athens amd Oconee County. She’s ready to protect our community and to be smart about how we meet the threat of those who have made mistakes. I know she will be a strong advocate for criminal justice reform — because I have worked with her and beside her on these issues.
We know that when we show up, when we use our power and when we make our voices heard, nothing can stop us. I am asking you to use that power and your voice to send Deborah Gonzalez to the District Attorney’s office where she will be a fighter for you.
Remember to vote Deborah Gonzalez on Tuesday, December 1st. Now Let’s Get It Done.

With only the DA race on the ballot, turnout is expected to drop a lot compared to the general election. Turnout will be key to notch a win for a progressive justice system.
