The Trump campaign claims to have filed suit to halt the vote count in Michigan. In a statement Wednesday, campaign manager Bill Stepien said that the campaign "has not been provided with meaningful access to numerous counting locations to observe the opening of ballots and the counting process, as guaranteed by Michigan law."
He said the suit was filed in the Michigan Court of Claims "to halt counting until meaningful access has been granted." As of the time of filing, Democrat Joe Biden continues to claim the lead, with the state still in the process of counting some 400,000 ballots that were not counted Tuesday. These are largely absentee, and expected to continue to help Biden.
