As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!
IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be added to the Itzl Alert Network anytime! We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! Every member is an editor, so anyone can take a turn when they have something to say, photos and music to share, a cause to promote or news!

I have been a fan of Meatloaf’s music, since before I was old enough to see over the top of my father’s turn table. I remember, seeing a catalog, full of all these records, all of which could be mine for just $1.00. Luckily, dad caught me before I managed to get the Colombia catalog in the mail, but after looking to see just what it was I wanted so badly. A few weeks later, I came home to find that dad had been to the record store, and come home with a new meatloaf album for me to enjoy. When I was old enough to buy my own, and -not- fall for a catalog scam, one of the first ones I bought for myself was Meatloaf’s “Welcome to the Neighborhood”
When you ask most people about Meatloaf’s music, their minds go straight to, one of the three “Bat out of Hell” Albums, but the man has a wealth of talent and work that you risk missing, if all you ever listen to, is that trilogy. Below, is a playlist of songs that you may not have heard before.
