After pardoning Michael Flynn who lied to the FBI about discussing sanctions with former Russian Ambassador Kislyak, Donald John Trump has now pardoned his other criminal co-conspirators who were all prosecuted by Robert Mueller.
He’s pardoned George Papadopoulos who lied to the FBI about meeting with Russian contacts and being told that the Russians had gained access to “Hillary” emails via the DNC. He found this out months before it was discovered by the DNC themselves. Ironically, he has stated that he lied to the FBI about this because Trump himself had repeatedly lied about his campaign being in contact with Russians.
He’s pardoned Paul Manafort who was in near constant contact with Russian Intelligence operative Konstantin Kilimnick, and who used Kilimnick to offer internal polling information to Putin-connected Oligarch Oleg Deripaska.
He’s pardoned Alex Van der Zwann who lied to the FBI about knowing about Manafort and his deputy Rick Gates being in contact with Kilimnick.
He’s pardoned Roger Stone who reached out and communicated with Wikileaks, who had released the Hillary/DNC emails that Papadopoulos had been told about, and discovered they also had emails from Hillary campaign manager John Podesta. He later, on orders from the campaign, used his contacts to reach out to Wikileaks and have them release the Podesta emails within an hour of the release of the “grab ‘em by the pussy” Access Hollywood tape.
All of these people lied under oath and defied justice on the bet that they would ultimately be pardoned by Trump. These pardons are therefore Quid Pro Quo, They are the payoff for a bribe offered to keep their silence.
In addition he’s pardoned Charles Kushner, who paid a prostitute to seduce his brother-in-law, then sent a tape of it to his sister who had agreed to testify against him in a campaign finance scandal.
He’s also pardoned Rep. Chris Collins who was convicted in insider trading, and Rep. Duncan Hunter who was convicted on campaign finance violations like Kushner. Both of these shitheels were early supporters of his, ironic that they’re both fucking criminals as well as Trump-lovers.
On top of a smattering of drug and marijuana cases, he’s also pardoned the mass murderers from Blackwater who committed a massacre in Iraq.
These veterans were working in Iraq in 2007 as security contractors responsible for securing the safety of United States personnel. When the convoy attempted to establish a blockade outside the “Green Zone,” the situation turned violent, which resulted in the unfortunate deaths and injuries of Iraqi civilians. Initial charges against the men were dismissed, but they were eventually tried and convicted on charges ranging from first degree murder to voluntary manslaughter. On appeal, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that additional evidence should have been presented at Mr. Slatten’s trial. Further, prosecutors recently disclosed—more than 10 years after the incident—that the lead Iraqi investigator, who prosecutors relied heavily on to verify that there were no insurgent victims and to collect evidence, may have had ties to insurgent groups himself.
Let’s be clear, there were no insurgents in the area. This attack was unprovoked. Some of the victims were as young as seven-years-old.
Trump lastly pardoned a former border patrol agent who “thought” he was being attacked and fired at an immigrant who fled back across the border.
But you know who he didn’t pardon?
He didn't pardon his former lawyer Michael Cohen in the case where Trump was named “Individual #1” in the campaign finance charges for paying off porn star Stormy Daniels and Playboy playmate Karen McDougal for sex, because Cohen has openly and viciously criticized him since being charged. Cohen has also alleged that Trump has participated in Tax and Bank fraud which is currently being investigated by NY AG Letitia James and Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance. He didn’t pardon Rick Gates, who as Manafort’s deputy, was directly involved in his Russian contacts and testified against him. He didn’t pardon Steve Bannon who testified against Roger Stone and confirmed that he was the link between the campaign and Wikileaks.
He has pardoned people who were loyal to him, he has pardoned people who recklessly shot at an immigrant and he’s pardon mass murderers who killed over a dozen innocent Iraqis.
Even Nixon wouldn’t stoop this low, because this is just too fracking skeevy even for him.
In the past week Trump has slashed doses of the Covid-19 vaccine to first responders. He’s blocked the Defense Authorization Bill because it allows for the ability to rename bases which are currently named after fucking traitor CONFEDERATES, he’s had discussions in the Oval Office about calling for “Martial Law” in the key swings states that were won by Joe BIden and he’s stopped the long awaited Covid relief bill, which has already been delayed for 8 months, because at the last minute after the bill has already passed he wants to increase the stimulus checks from $600 to $2000, which is something his own staff tried to stop him from doing previously.
What. A. Shithead.
The kicker is of course that this just might wind up costing Flynn, Manafort and Stone in the long run according to former Mueller prosecutor Andrew Weissman.
"Since they've been pardoned, since they've had their sentences commuted, can Stone, Roger Stone and Paul Manafort, General [Mike] Flynn, can they not be dragged in front of a grand jury again and forced to testify? They can't incriminate themselves, they've already been pardoned. Can they lie, you know they'll do it, they can't help it.," Weissman was asked.
"Absolutely," he replied. "So I'm glad you asked that, because you cannot be pardoned for future crimes and each of those people, Roger Stone, Paul Manafort, Michael Flynn, has evidence in their head. They have information that a grand jury could seek, they can all be given grand jury subpoenas, required to testify in the grand jury."
"If they then lie before the grand jury, which is a new crime, and that happens after January 20th, there is no President Trump at that point to, you know, give them a get out of jail free card, and so all of this effort by the president to shield, you know, his friends and allies and, you know, potential conspirators will be for naught, because all of these people can be in that trick box of being put before the grand jury where they either have to tell the truth or they risk being prosecuted for a new crime of perjury and obstruction of justice," he added.
Oops.
Of course there is no grand jury looking into this currently, and none planned for the future — unless the FBI finally decides to do the counter-intelligence investigation that Andrew McCabe wanted, and Rod Rosenstein blocked, now that Bill Barr has resigned. All of that depends on who will become Joe Biden’s Attorney General and whether they chose to look back as well as look forward, and considering the current widespread Russia hacks of Homeland Security, The Pentagon, Commerce Dept. and Treasury — who knows?
Meanwhile Jared Kushner managed to funnel $170 Million in campaign cash into the families pockets using a shell company and really cool hand magic. Voila!
The president's son-in-law and White House senior adviser directed his sister-in-law Lara Trump, Vice President Mike Pence's nephew John Pence and Trump campaign CFO Sean Dollman to sit on the shell company's board, a source familiar with the operation told Business Insider.
The company, which was incorporated as American Made Media Consultants Corporation and American Made Media Consultants LLC, spent $617 million of the campaign's $1.26 billion war chest, according to campaign finance records.
Trump's top advisers and campaign staff told Insider they were unaware of how the shell company operated, and campaign officials even conducted an internal audit of its operations under former campaign manager Brad Parscale but never reported those findings, and the next campaign manager Bill Stepien had little involvement with AMMC.
"Nothing was done without Jared's approval," said a former advisor to Trump's 2016 campaign. "What Stepien doesn't know is because Jared doesn't want him to know."
The nonpartisan Campaign Legal Center filed a civil complaint in July with the Federal Election Commission accusing the campaign of disguising" about $170 million in spending "by laundering the funds" through AMMC.
Fucking Carnivore Grifters ‘til the end.
One bright spot: Fucking Sidney Crazy-ass “Kraken” Powell will not become the “Special Counsel” for so-called “Election Fraud.”
Whew.
In addition to all that, Smartmatic Systems has managed to get Newsmax and Fox News to issue detailed retractions of their previous “election fraud” reporting simply by threatening legal action.
Who knew that all you needed to do to get a wing-nut Right-winger to tell the fucking truth is threaten to take them to court? Barack Obama should have sued Trump years ago. Michelle Obama should have sued Fox. George Soros should go God Damn ballistic. Fucking everybody should have sued the shit out of Right-Wing media and taken them for every thing they have. Put them the fuck out of business. Stop them lying to the people of America.
It’s about time. We’ve had enough of their shit.
Here Chris Hayes explains how Rupert Murdock owned media with Fox News and the New York Post have been specifically lying to us for months. Frankly, for years. Even they admit, in court, that they don’t provide “the News” or “Facts” at all.
While his channels demonize health providers, masks, social distance and the vaccine, Murdock takes a fleet of SUV’s to get his own vaccine from the “socialized medicine” of Britain’s NHS.
Fucking hypocrite.
