340K lives lost due to incompetence
The pace of deaths and cases might be plateauing. With cases skyrocketing past 200K cases a day, deaths easily surpassing 2,000 a day, and 3,000 on some days.

Had to change my tally to every 20K deaths as the list was getting too depressingly long. Currently averaging 20K deaths every 16.31 days (doesn’t include the time to reach first 20K). Death rate is increasing. We are at the rate when this pandemic started in March/April when New York was reporting over 1K dead a day. With cases surging to 200K cases a day, the death rate is going to increase rapidly.
We might hit 400K by January 20th.
Total Cases:
100K: March 27th

4M: July 21st (15 days)
5M: August 6th (16 days)
6M: August 27th (21 days)
7M: September 18th (22 days)
8M: October 11th (23 days)
9M: October 27th (16 days)
10M: November 6th (10 days)
11M: November 13th (7 days)

13M: November 25th (6 days)

Case growth is surging. 200K+ cases a day on most days. We are hitting a million cases in less than a week!
