A grumpy Trumpy arrived at his new domicile and got depressed over not having enough gaudy gold surroundings to remind him of his earlier, more randy life. In other news, Pence seems not to be ready to join the idiots trying to overturn the election, and the New York prosecutors seem to be moving closer to their target.
Among the reported changes in decor were the addition of white marble and dark wood, which President Trump had removed.

His mood darkened as soon as he walked into his members-only club Mar-a-Lago, three days before Christmas, according to multiple sources. The changes to his private quarters, many of which were overseen by his wife, first lady Melania Trump, were not to President Donald Trump's liking, and he was mad about it, according to a source familiar with the President's response.
Several weeks in the works, the renovations, undertaken to make the approximately 3,000-square-foot space feel larger and updated in preparation for the Trumps post-White House life, didn't appeal to Trump's aesthetics, according to his reaction.
Trump was also displeased with other renovations at the property, the source said, not just in the living space.
"He was not happy with it," said the source, who noted several loud, one-sided conversations with club management almost immediately ensued.
The White House did not immediately respond to a CNN request for comment.
It was Melania Trump, and her interior decorator, Tham Kannalikham, who selected many of the details on the renovations, however, not Mar-a-Lago staff, a fact of which Trump was well aware.
This is not the first time the President's personal taste has clashed with that of his wife. Trump was also not thrilled with some of the decorative updates to Camp David, another project of the first lady, when he saw them during the Thanksgiving holiday, according to another source familiar with the President's reaction after the visit.

A source told Page Six that even though Melania has been redecorating their apartment at the club, the couple plans to buy some sort of property nearby so they can have more space.
"Melania and Trump are talking to brokers about buying a house in Palm Beach, or nearby, as the living space at Mar-a-Lago isn’t big enough, and there could be some potential conflicts," the source told the outlet.

Lawyers representing Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) and Arizona’s 11 GOP electors disclosed in a court filing Tuesday that Vice President Pence rejected their request to join their attempt to subvert the results of the presidential election.
Gohmert and the electors filed suit against Pence on Monday in an attempt to argue that the vice president has sole authority to determine which presidential electors Congress will count when it certifies the results of the election. The far-fetched suit essentially asks the court to grant Pence the authority on Jan. 6 to overrule the results in swing states such as Arizona and have Congress count only pro-Trump electors instead of the ones President-elect Joe Biden won.
In new court filings made public Tuesday, the plaintiffs disclosed that they had reached out to Pence before filing their suit in an attempt to join forces but that their talks did not reach any kind of agreement.
“In the teleconference, Plaintiffs' counsel made a meaningful attempt to resolve the underlying legal issues by agreement, including advising the Vice President's counsel that Plaintiffs intended to seek immediate injunctive relief in the event the parties did not agree,” lawyers for Gohmert and the electors said in the filing. “Those discussions were not successful in reaching an agreement and this lawsuit was filed.”
The revelation was made in a filing in which Gohmert’s attorneys sought an expedited schedule for a ruling to try to press U.S. District Judge Jeremy Kernodle of the Eastern District of Texas to decide the case by Jan. 4, two days before the certification.
