I’m setting this up in advance. Here’s a note about what begins tomorrow other than the much-anticipated 2021, which we all hope will give us a better year to look back on at its end than we’re looking back at from its start:
✒️ 🖊️

I wanted to say how much I’ve enjoyed the adventures I’ve read here since finding this group, and how much fun and exercise the various challenges have offered me. I hope nobody’s been bored with the snippets I’ve posted. The characters have suggested more snippets may be coming ...
But I’m a relative greenhorn in this series, and our founder, Sensible Shoes, has given us — since New Year’s Day 2009 — a gift that keeps on giving: a place to gather, discuss writing, practice the craft, and learn how our fellow DK members approach their prose or poetry, as the case may be.
So with that, I’ll post a quick challenge:
In 250 words or less, what have you found most rewarding in participating here, whether by reading, commenting, or trying the challenges / NaNoWriMo, or DaKoWriMo?
Meanwhile: here’s to finally seeing the backside of 2020, and may 2021 be a healthier, happier, more wholesome year than its immediate predecessor!
Write On! will be a regular Thursday night diary (8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific) until it isn’t.
