On Thursday night, Matt Gaetz and his plus-one (i.e., his giant fucking head) attended a Young Republicans gala in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Needless to say, the event was held in defiance of social-distancing rules, and the participants were photographed indoors, in close proximity to each other, and without masks.
This was on the same day that the U.S. recorded 2,921 COVID-19 deaths, according to Worldometer.com. And New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy noticed:
MURPHY: “It is beyond the pale that anyone would willingly endanger people in another state, never mind their own. It is also beyond the pale that a member of Congress … would participate in this. … That guy in the middle, the tall, handsome fellow in the gray suit, that is Rep. Matt Putz — sorry, Matt Gaetz — and based on his past performances, it is obvious being a knucklehead is not beyond the pale for him. He was actually Sarah Palin’s backup act for this event. … What a fool. He and they should be ashamed of themselves. He is not welcome — I hope you’re watching, Matt. You are not welcome in New Jersey, and frankly I don’t ever want you back in this state.”
Murphy also tweeted his disgust:
The fact that Gaetz’s head actually sprawled throughout portions of the New York metropolitan tri-state area like an abandoned IKEA warehouse is no excuse. He was still blasting his freedom phlegm out like an asshole coal roller, so fuck him.
And, yeah, we’ll never forget that gas mask, which Gaetz wore “sarcastically.”
So fuck him twice. Metaphorically, of course, because — ew.
This guy is a natural. Sometimes I laugh so hard I cry." — Bette Midler on Aldous J. Pennyfarthing, via Twitter. The first history of the Trump Error is complete!
