What a wonderful act of kindness!
The Kansas City Chiefs pulled out what some might call a miracle come-from-behind fourth quarter win to win the Super Bowl.
Chiefs defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi, a dedicated advocate for shelter pets year ‘round, provided the means to bring about the miracle of new lives with loving families for over 100 shelter dogs following Sunday’s Super Bowl win:
Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi sponsored adoptions for all dogs who were at a Missouri shelter Sunday.
Nnadi paid the adoption fees for all dogs who were at the KC Pet Project on Sunday, giving the shelter animals an opportunity to find new homes. The Missouri-based shelter announced the news on social media Sunday after the Chiefs came back from a double-digit deficit to win the NFL championship.
"We have had an amazing, season-long, partnership with @dnnadi and he couldn't have thought of a better ending," KC Pet Project said on Instagram.

The shelter added a video to its Instagram Stories of a line of adoption applicants Monday. Many were wearing Chiefs gear.
KC Pet Project has rescued over 10,000 dogs, cats, bunnies, and ?? to date.
Nnadi is one of the biggest supporters throughout the year at this shelter and others around the country, as well as supporting programs for kids, disaster relief, and other worthy causes. What a wonderful example he’s setting.
Thank you for being such a caring human being, Derrick Nnadi.
Adopt, don’t shop. It’s a win/win for all involved! :-)
BTW, whether someone has a pet or not, or can’t adopt because of circumstances, shelters & rescue groups are always in need of volunteers, foster homes, blankets, toys, treats, etc. And the boys and girls waiting for a loving home so appreciate a loving touch, a walk, and play. The reward is love. Lots of love …
Please feel free to post pictures of your pets and tell their stories!
(If you take the poll: ‘Rescues’ come from shelters, they’re found on the streets, adopted from rescue groups, or they wander into our lives)

I’m sure I’m not alone in saying what a heartwarming experience it is seeing pics and reading the stories behind all the faces. There’s a lot of love in this room!
