Went to early vote Friday at the same polling station where I voted last year — what a contrast. Last year, I waited for over an hour to vote. This year, I was the only voter there. Last year, there was a ten-page ballot (governor, senator, constitutional amendments, local races). This time, a one-page ballot with only one question — who is your choice for the Democratic presidential nominee (16 choices — remember, e.g., Sestak, Delaney, Williamson). Some cities in Broward had local races, but not here.
Maybe it’s because of corona virus fear, maybe because most people expect a Biden blowout win, but the low turnout was a sad sight to see. Unlike in Louisiana and Georgia, here the governor has said the election will not be postponed.
