I published a diary very early yesterday morning arguing for ranked choice voting. I will not re-hash that now, but since I published that diary both Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar have bowed out of the race, giving us a little more clarity.
We are now down to four serious candidates and Tulsi Gabbard. This is not so much a diary as a heat check via poll on Super Tuesday eve.
There are a total of 24 permutations of 1-4 ordering of the Biden, Bloomberg, Sanders, and Warren. I have decided to order the choice rankings alphabetically in an effort to avoid playing favorites or being seen to have done so. But I decided that a poll with 24 choices was cumbersome enough without adding other options — sorry Gabbard heads. So, for those of you who just can’t bring yourself to choose one of the 24, 1 — 4 rankings, I have added a 25th “other explain in comments category.
I don’t ordinarily ask for (or receive all that many) recs, I only mention them now, because while this diary doesn’t merit recs in terms of effort or over all quality, I hope you’ll consider reccing anyway because I think this poll will be more interesting with a lot of participants and I think some recs would help to achieve that.
