Good luck Arizona.
Who you don't see pictured here is the other U.S. Senator for Arizona, Kyrsten Sinema.
Although I think Kelley would lean further left than Sinema, given that Sinema created anti-Immigrant laws prior to departing Arizona, and has demonstrated time and time again through her voting record, that her bark is that of a "Blue Dog," as opposed to the liberal she was when I first met her, and helped her get on Spanish language television while Sinema was campaigning for the Arizona State legislature.
I think we can all agree that Kyrsten Sinema is a "D.I.N.O."
She's so far up the Republicans arse, that she made her point about being a Blue Dog, and acknowledged the same during Trump's disastrous "State of the Union," by wearing a "Purple" dress, a clear indicator that Sinema proudly touts that she makes mixed decisions, Blue, and Red. Unfortunately for the Blue side, she votes in line with the red on bills that can, and usually are, devastating for the Blue.
Sinema doubled down when she stood up to applaud Trump on at least two occassions, recognizing his efforts on conservative matters.
However, most recently McSally strategically displayed her Rethuglican talons in verbally attacking one of the nicest, and low key reporters on CNN's roster. Manu Raju.
Raju, an olived skin reporter of Indian descent, asked McSally a basic non-gotcha question, and, in an effort to shine for Trump's admiration, McSally barked, "Oh Manu, you're such a liberal hack."
Manu Raju, a "Liberal Hack?" This guy is so low key, that his name stands out more than his personality, and I've never heard him lean in either direction politically.
Indeed,it worked out for McSally, Trump took her under his orange stained wing. Trump shouted out to McSalley during a press conference, acknowledging how well "the woman in Arizona, running for Senate was doing," or something to that effect. Having the Teflon Dons' blessing in a red state, gives McSally a predictable outcome.
Meanwhile, for Kelly, it's an unpredictable future, with Covid19 hijacking all media coverage, Kelley, a former Astronaut, does not appear worried, his entire life has been based on venturing into the unknown.
