I have no idea how long this Black Lives Matter banner will be on display at the U.S. Embassy in South Korea, but I wanted folks to be aware of this act of solidarity while it remains.
At some point today, or soon I imagine someone in the administration of the current White House occupant, will discover that a huge banner is undermining their racist dog whistle branding and Secretary of State Pompeo will be directed to have a meeting about re-assigning the U.S. Ambassador Harry Harris or accepting his resignation.
I will admit it. At first, I thought this was a fake photo.
But reading through the official Twitter account for the embassy, I am inclined to believe that Ambassador Harris, wants to be on the right side of this moment.
Not everyone is pleased with this display of solidarity.
