Where is Dan "Old People Should Die for the Economy" Patrick?

This is just a quick note from down in Texas.

Recently, Dan Patrick, the Lieutenant Governor, went on the Tucker Carlson show and said old people should be willing to die for the economy.  Here’s the interview.

Patrick has been …. absent in recent press conferences.

Why isn’t he doing the PR — without a mask — instead of Abbott?  Shouldn’t Dan, “I’ll sacrifice myself for the good of the economy” be willing to do that?
