I am an odd eater, I know it.
I am not into pasta or Italian food, or anything with a lot of vinegar, but I love eating eel, jellyfish, etc.
However, other than insects and blood products there is no food that I would not try at least once.
There is something else, though.
Every so often I get a craving for a specific food. I cannot get enough of it, I eat it as much as possible. Suddenly one day I lose interest in it and go for a long time until the craving comes up and the process resets.
One of the most common foods that this happens with, for me, are beets..
I love veggie tables, so it s not odd that I like beets. But I go mega-beet at times. I cannot put them down., This will last a month or so, and then nothing for a year or three.
Does anyone else find themselves eating the same way? If so what foods do you eat a lot of, stop, and later restart?
