Here are some other things that may have passed under your Trump radar during and following the convention.
Nobody told Melania that wearing green makes it easy for savvy techies to use the green screen effect.
Watch Facebook video here. Here’s one from The Daily Show:
Watch Melania’s phony smile as Ivanka walked by turning into a glare of distain after she passed:
Below, about Dana Goldberg: she “writes jokes, tell them on stages, and do some other things to make the world better.”

Because I was an early member of Duty to Warn I follow news about #UNFIT. I was pleased to see that Barbra Streisand tweeted a recommendation for #UNFIT. She has ¾ of a million followers. I am hoping that Stormy Daniels does the same for her 1.1 million followers.
The documentary is getting pre-release rave reviews in the show business press (Variety, for example, by their co-chief film reviewer Owen Gleiberman) and by well known newspaper film reviewers like Richard Roeper (Chicago Sun-Times). The documentary shepherded into existence by the founder of Duty to Warn founder Dr. John D. Gartner is about Trump being mentally unfit and dangerous has gone from being covered in the progressive media like Salon yesterday for example and a review in The Progressive today by Ed Rampell, to he international press (Pakistan for example).
The word "dossier" jumped out in this story: White House threatens journalist with a ‘dossier’ over report exposing Trump’s self-dealing
Can it be lost on any of use that the Steele dossier was anywhere from almost entirely true or if the pee incident really happened 100% true. If the White House really wants to put together a damning dossier on Washington Post reporter David Fahrentholt want to bet it will be 100% fake?
Excerpt: During his 2016 campaign, Donald Trump promised that he would “completely isolate” himself from the Trump Organization if elected president. But the Washington Post and other media outlets have done a great deal of reporting on the many ways in which Trump’s properties — from Mar-a-Lago in South Florida to his hotels and golf resorts around the world — have profited from his presidency. Some of that reporting can be found in an article that was written by reporters David A. Fahrenthold, Josh Dawsey and Joshua Partlow and published by the Post on Thursday morning, and one of the article’s revelations is that a White House spokesman resented the Post’s investigation so much that he was willing to threaten Fahrenthold with a “dossier.”
It's easier to cut off a Zoom interview than walk out of an interview:
New Hot-Mic Video: What Trump Told His Lawyer When He Didn’t Know a Camera Was Rolling — The revealing footage was shot during a deposition in the Trump University fraud case. David Corn in Mother Jones
On December 10, 2015, Donald Trump took time off from campaigning for the Republican presidential nomination to spend hours sitting for a videotaped deposition in a lawsuit alleging that he and Trump University had defrauded people who had plunked down thousands of dollars to learn the secrets of his financial success as a developer. During a break in the proceedings, the camera continued to roll. And Trump and his attorney, Daniel Petrocelli, apparently unaware they were being recorded, were captured discussing the case.
In this 13-minute hot-mic video—a copy of which was provided to Mother Jones—Trump boasted about how his company threatened the Better Business Bureau to change the D rating it had assigned Trump University to an A. He complained about the federal judge overseeing the suit, Gonzalo Curiel, elliptically talking about how to challenge him and referring to “the Spanish thing.” Trump also griped that he had been sued personally in this case, and Petrocelli had to explain to Trump that he, not just Trump University itself, was in the legal crosshairs because Trump had been accused of making false statements to promote the venture. And Petrocelli pointed out that the case was not a lock for Trump because some of Trump’s “guys” had been “sloppy.”
This tape shows Trump in the wild, trying to figure out how to contend with a judge who he believed was not on his side (perhaps with the use of a racist attack), bragging about pressuring a group that had given his business a low rating, and grousing that he was being held personally responsible for a Trump enterprise accused of scamming people.
Trump had public meltdown over missed phone call from Putin, former British No 10 aide says — ‘If Putin wants a call with me you just put him through,’ US president yelled according to Theresa May’s former chief of staff.
Donald Trump exploded with anger at one of his most senior aides about missing a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to a former No 10 official.
The US president’s rant about the missed call happened “right in front” of former prime minister Theresa May in Washington, her ex-chief of staff Nick Timothy has revealed.
Mr Timothy spoke about a “fairly extraordinary” lunch during which Mr Trump shouted at his then-national security advisor Michael Flynn.
“Somebody just mentioned in passing that Vladimir Putin had asked for a call with him, and right in front us he absolutely shouted down Mike Flynn,” he said.
“Like really shouted. This was at a formal dinner with butlers and fancy crockery – and he was properly shouting at him down the table.”
Mr Timothy said the president yelled: “If Putin wants a call with me you just put him through.”

Here’s what I put on Twitter this morning. The background is meant as a moment of zen. It is one of my photos of the beach that was my late wife and my favorite place to spend endless summers days, Little Harbor Beach on Buzzards Bay, Mass.
