SUBMIT YOUR REQUEST FOR A BALLOT TODAY! DON'T WAIT!
In case you are unaware, in Ohio we must request an absentee ballot (vote by mail ballot) from our County Board of Elections. You must to fill-out a simple one-page form and mail it to your Board of Elections to request your ballot. A husband and wife must fill-out a separate form, but it can be inserted and mailed in the one envelope with a single forever stamp.
Simply Google your County Board of Elections and navigate to their web site. You will see a link for a form you can fill-out on-line and print, or you can print a blank form and fill it out by hand. It requires your signature. A mail-to address is provided on the web site.
Some Board of Elections Web Sites don't refer to Absentee Ballots, but instead call them: "Vote by Mail Ballots"
Just follow the instructions provided

Then click the link- Vote by Mail
You'll need to provide your name and D.O.B. to verify that you are a registered voter.
NOTE: You must be registered to vote before you can vote by mail and/or request an absentee ballot. If you are not registered, you can register and/or update your address electronically on the Secretary of State Website here:

After submission of your ballot request, a ballot will be mailed to you as soon as they are available. Please complete your ballot and mail it back ASAP. Don’t wait. Don’t procrastinate.
YOU NEED TO VOTE AND RETURN YOUR BALLOT AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE. Don't forget to sign and date it.
If you want to vote in-person early, you can do so at your County Board of Elections. They will list the date and times when you can do so.
