Just after Trump lists him as potential for Supreme Court, Tom Cotton states he’d kill Roe v. Wade

Only moments after Trump revealed today that Tom Cotton was on a list of potential Supreme Court nominees, Cotton announced that he’d kill Roe v. Wade if given the opportunity.

… he (Cotton) indicated that he was ready, willing, and able to completely remove the landmark Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade.

It’s a case that has served as a dealbreaker for some Republican women who still believe in small government and keeping the government out of a woman’s medical decisions. Such was the case with Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), who said she was pro-choice and refused to approve of a justice who would undermine Roe. I’ve known Tom Cotton was a snake in the grass since I researched him for an article I wrote in 2015.  Everything I read (and wrote) then has proven prescient, if not understated, and everything subsequent has upheld that judgement.  Note that he seems to be especially misogynistic (“women are the problem”, etc.).  This is that diary:
