It was reported a while ago that they dropped Kushner’s nationwide testing plan because it was determined that the people getting sick and dying were in Democratic cities/states which the WH, of course, denied. However, it was also reported that funds, PPE, equipment and other items distributed by the federal government were apportioned in a partisan manner, for example, with NY getting very little while FL got anything and everything they wanted. It also seems that Trump’s epiphany, if you can call it that, where he started to take the virus marginally more seriously came about in late June/early July when “his people” in red states were getting the virus and dying. Has there been any reporting with a timeline that focuses on the extraordinary partisanship of Trump’s COVID response? If not, I would sure like to see one! How about you?
