Helping Amy McGrath does both.
Having lived in Kentucky for 20 years, this is the best chance I’ve seen yet to unseat Mitch McConnell, and with the number of ads he’s running in NKY, he seems pretty darn worried about it, too. I’ve never seen this many ads from him. Plus, I’ve never seen Democrats, or a campaign, fighting this hard and making their efforts known as much as I’ve seen with the Amy McGrath Campaign. She’s even counter-punching his negative ads with ads of her own, right on top of his! I don’t care what the recent poll said, Mitch is running ads like this and pushing the nomination bc he’s scared. I live in the crucial area he’s worried about, and people get a disgusted look on their faces when his name is even mentioned. Disgust is a powerful, motivating emotion.
And interestingly, I have seen Mitch modify himself when he feels political pressure. We hit him with a planned barrage of phone calls on the 1st Covid stimulus bill, and he moved. So, I actually have some of hope that he might hesitate on his horrible nomination push, if he sees that Amy is taking in a lot of money and/or getting help, right now.

ActBlue for Amy McGrath
This is also the first time we’ve ever had early voting and no excuse needed absentee ballots in KY.
Mitch seems pretty concerned that the majority we brought out to elect Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear might show up to boot him out of power, too. With this year’s unprecedented voting options, we are hoping to get even more of our folks’ votes counted than ever before.
If you can give an hour to help get ballots to KY Democrats and help get those absentee Democratic ballots correctly on their way, Amy’s campaign could us your GOTV help, now!
Volunteer to GOTV Phone Bank for Amy McGrath
Out of state volunteers are welcome, and they provide training to do it from home. My son is one of her interns, and he and a bunch of talented young people are working their tails off with this GOTV effort. I’m darn proud of him and any help you could throw them would be greatly appreciated.
