One of the changes to the ballot in PA — a change which does not seem to get much attention — is the elimination of straight-ticket voting. I live in a retirement community in a red district where some
little old ladies were confused during a primary several years ago when they could not vote straight ticket. They had to be told that everyone on the ballot was, in fact, Republican. No, they could not vote by checking the Republican box since there was none.
When, in November, they cannot check the box, what will happen, especially to the down-ballot choices? Any thoughts?
