400K dead in less than a year.
The pace of deaths and cases seems have hit a plateau. With cases skyrocketing past 200K cases a day, deaths easily surpassing 3,000 a day, and 4,000 on some days.

Had to change my tally to every 20K deaths as the list was getting too depressingly long. Currently averaging 20K deaths every 14.73 days (doesn’t include the time to reach first 20K). Death rate is increasing. We are at the rate when this pandemic started in March/April when New York was reporting over 1K dead a day. With cases surging to 200K cases a day, the death rate is going to increase rapidly.
I can’t believe it happened. We somehow crossed 400K deaths before the inauguration. I never thought that would happen.
