So, this has happened:
"Our Supreme Court, in 1915, said if you're pardoned and you accept that pardon, it's an admission of guilt," Comey said in an interview with The Current's Matt Galloway. "That's an important vehicle for accountability as well that people often don't talk about."
Yes, that’s right, the man who helped elect the Orange Turd of Doom (and was subsequently shit-canned for his efforts by same Turd), now suggests that President-Elect Biden should consider a pardon for his predecessor—who only recently was impeached for inciting an insurrection against his own government!
To this I say...sure, why not?
I mean, the Turd-o-Doom has committed so many frickin’ crimes in the last four years that President Biden can surely find some minor, insignificant thing (jaywalking? littering? loitering in the west wing women’s bathroom?) that he could pardon said Turd-o-Doom without eliminating the joy we will all feel when that person is arrested for all his other criming.
One catch: Turd-o-Doom needs to admit his guilt publicly, and show genuine contrition and remorse like any true seeker of a pardon.
AND THEN he needs to admit publicly that he legitimately lost the election to Biden—because otherwise, continuing to push the faux fraud story would mean that (logically) if Biden is illegitimate, any pardon he provides Turd-o-Doom is similarly illegitimate.
Of course no such public pronouncements will be made, the pardon will not be granted, and Turd-o can start being measured for an orange jumpsuit.
Sounds like a plan to me.
