As noted earlier, identifying the phone should make it easier to identify the woman when someone goes through the cell tower data. This image adds another piece of data. The cover on the phone is a Kate Spade Floral cover for the iPhone 11.
There has been a lot of speculation this woman is Shawna Bentz, Lauren Boebert’s mother. According to her daughter, Bentz was in a secure location with some of Boebert’s staff members during the attack. Furthermore, Bentz has denied she is the woman in this photo on her Twitter.
When you look at her Twitter, it is worth noting, she uses an iPhone. If it is truly NOT her, it should be an easy matter to determine which iPhone she has and which cover she has. If she is telling the truth, a quick review of her data from January 6 would allow her to solve this problem beyond any reasonable doubt.
Figuring this out matters. If she is not the woman everyone is looking for, it is important to know that so the real culprit can be found. It will also get the spot light off of her and allow her to get back to her daily routine.
Addendum 2/3/21: Turns out #bullhornlady was ultimately identified as Rachel Powell.
More to the point, searching through cell phone data from the Capitol now is a matter of sorting all the numbers by carrier, then sorting all hits by phone type. If there are as many as a few hundred white iPhone 11 phones in that data set, I would be surprised.
Regardless, #bullhornlady better start getting her affairs in order and prepare to face time in prison.
This woman is a central figure in the attack. She was not a passive observer pushed along by the crowd. Besides her efforts coordinating people inside the building, she was one of the people who used a pole to smash the window near the entrance where the cop was attacked. You can see her in the screen capture from that video.
