It’s been an unspeakable 4 years until this day. I think I am not alone in trying to maintain sanity in creative ways. Someday, I’d like to see a compendium of the best multitude of contributions to this form of commentary. It would make a great coffee table book.
Since that fateful day 4 years ago, I have been cranking out some amateurish stabs at satire, largely published in comments, especially in the Good News Roundup group. Looking back, I’ve realized it’s become a bit of a collection.
In celebration of the end of this reign of terror, I’d like to share them with you. You are cordially invited to post your own in the comments if, like me, you caught the snarky bug of creativity in reaction to this dreaded time period.

Nancy’s trolls at the SOTU:
A little later (remember sleepy Mike?):
The real purpose of that photo-op:
When things were really getting me down.
Administration fails on the pandemic:
Some of those rioters caught are fixing their Gadsden flags:
In honor of Trump’s Mt. Rushmore photo-op (shirt gifted to me by some Lakota folks back in the ‘80’s.)
Finally, in honor of those great title images on the Good News Roundup, help is on the way:
May better times be upon us and may our black humor lighten up.
