For those of us who love animals, it’s a pleasure to see that two very well loved pets are now in residence at the White House.
The Bidens’ German Shepherds, Major and Champ, both moved in to their new digs on Sunday.
I couldn’t find a Sunday pic of both dogs together. The doggo above with FLOTUS is the older one, 12-year-old Champ. Here’s 2-year-old Major enjoying a stroll on the South Lawn of the White House.
A brand-new illustrated children’s book about the two new DOTUS is already a bestseller. What do you know, people enjoy seeing and hearing about beloved family pets who are a part of history.
It was always eye-rolling when a previous POTUS said someone was treated “Like a dog” when any sane person would think So they were treated well? They got to sleep on the bed, hang their heads out of the car window? Scarf down table scraps? Get their belly rubbed? Get asked “Who’s a good boy? You are! You are!”
For those of us who love both cats and dogs, and were happy to hear that the Bidens also plan to adopt a kitty, Jen Psaki said that there is no news yet on the promised COTUS.
But Champ and Major had better realize that any cat will own the place. I expect to see a WH pootie sitting in the Oval Office, observing visitors like this:
And when that happens, you can expect to see this on Fox:
