BJay Pak, US Attorney for Northern Georgia, abruptly resigned moments ago, with absolutely no statement or explanation.
www.ajc.com/…
How often does that happen? Could it be even Trump-appointed Republicans are appalled at his criminality in dealing with Georgia Secretary of State Raffensperger? Was he involved in discussions between Fulton County, the Secretary of State, and the Feds over who gets to prosecute the latest atrocity committed by the Orange Travesty?
Normally the Secretary of State Office would handle an election fraud investigation, but Raffensperger is saying his office shouldn’t because it has an inherent conflict of interest.
Pak was the first Asian American US Attorney, and served for six years in the Georgia state legislature.
Looking forward to hearing why he resigned….

On the recording of the phone call, Trump calls somebody, presumably Bjay Pak, a “Never-Trumper U.S. Attorney” — it’s at 27:10 in the audio tape here:

The transcripts online haven’t pegged this but it’s pretty clear in the audio. Why does Trump think Pak is a “Never Trumper”?

In updated news story, Atlanta Journal-Constitution picking up now on how Trump appears to label Pak a “Never-Trumper U.S. Attorney” in the audio tape of him shaking down Secretary of State Raffensperger. Nothing yet on why Trump would call him that, considering he was a Trump appointee.
