Projection, thy name is Republican.
Stop me if you’ve heard this one: The Republican CFO of a top Trump- and Qanon-supporting Las Vegas firm is facing two felony counts related to a fraudulent vote cast in the 2020 presidential election.
Donald “Kirk” Hartle is accused of forging his dead wife’s signature on a ballot submitted during the election. Hartle’s wife died of cancer in 2017.
The fraudulent ballot was discovered in November 2020, at which point the Nevada GOP wasted no time in loudly and emphatically pointing to it as evidence of widespread voter fraud, including in this tweet, among several others:
For the non-Tweeters:
Ignoring evidence is not the same as no evidence. How much voter fraud is okay?
Thousands of non citizens voted as uncovered by DMV Subponea
Deceased ppl voted (say their names:Rosemarie Hartle and Fred Stokes)
Ballots were mailed and returned from vacant lots (how?)&more
Even better was Hartle’s own reaction shortly after the election in 2020 about his dead wife’s fraudulent ballot:
"It made no sense to me," Hartle told [Las Vegas’ 8NewsNow’s David Charns] in November. "It lent some credence to what you've been hearing in the media about these possibilities and now it makes me wonder how pervasive is this?”
Perhaps even more delicious is the fact that
Hartle is the chief financial officer at Ahern Rentals, which hosted a rally for former President Donald Trump last September and was cited for violating coronavirus protocols. The umbrella company is scheduled to host a QAnon conference this weekend at the Ahern Hotel off the Las Vegas Strip.
Another Republican forging a ballot — this must be a day that ends in “y.”
