Good morning gardeners. My back is back. Warm water workout and floor roller PT got 2 of the lower L’s to CRACK BACK where they belong. No pressure no pain in the entire lower girdle. Enough about my health.
I have a bit of the Celt in me, and lots of Western Europe ancient roots. My people had a tradition marked from 10/31 eve to 11/1 eve of Samhain, a time to celebrate the harvest and a time to remember the departed. I’m not big on ceremony or dogma. I always felt if you were talking about a spiritual experience you weren’t having one, and may have no idea what it would be like.
Singing, dancing, eating, socializing as a group celebrating the harvest and remembering our dearly departed seems to be a good idea, feels right now. I will be doing most of mine virtual, like with this little family on smgb.
We have had wind and rain. Looking like a good La Nina for this winter, wetter and cooler in the PNW. Unfortunately the Desert SW as we referred to it in elementary geography appears to be warmer and drier, again. My sister winters in Mesa AZ. One of their friends just arrived and reported selling all 500 remaining beeves, no water at all.
I am watching the slow decline of the yard. Yes, there is fall beauty. There is a lot of dahlia, marigold, zinnia debris forming as well.
How about a walk around the hill?
I will have a fire Sunday evening and welcome all to the hill.
