Tell us how your neighborhood’s Trick-or-Treat went. Did you do anything special? How many kids visited your hosue? Was it more like a “normal” pre-pandemic trick-or-treat?
We decided that, since we knew some folks would still be worried, we’d do a socially distanced trick-or-treat setup. I picked up a 6’ piece of 4” PVC pipe and a 90-degree fitting, and a bit of decoration gave us this, complete with menu:
The side view shows the use of a stepladder and stepstool to gain the necessary angle:
...and the kids had to be ready with their bag (or hands) at the beast’s mouth:
So, our evening was filled with “I want a #6!” “Here comes #6 — be ready!” and the like...lots of laughter, the kids loved it, and I think it reassured a few parents along the way…
