The question remains, if he’s been cloned, why is the “real” Trump in hiding. Is he trying to achieve or complete palingenesis, except that to transmigrate a soul, you first have to have one. More troubling are those who will expect his return in some far-off decade rather than 2024. The problem is that fascist expectations of rebirth with purification will persist in proportion to America’s exceptionalist anti-intellectualism.
