I had started a dairy post to track data changes in Florida and it went horribly wrong for me. i lack the click paste savvy to screen shot and post….
Has anybody documented data releases and the ever growing totals that amass after the 7 day average of the current posting day? That is the speculation, I’d like to track it … or follow someone who does.
But a light scratch on the surface about covid death reporting yielded some interesting results
Like in Mississippi www.usatoday.com/...
“Lafayette Parish’s chief death investigator, Keith Talamo, acknowledged that most people who die at home are pronounced dead over the phone. He said his office lacks the resources to test every death for COVID-19. In a departure from widely accepted death investigation practices, Talamo said he typically writes down “what the families tell us” and doesn’t push further.”
And Missouri missouriindependent.com/...
“Wavis Jordan, a Republican who was elected last year to serve as coroner of the 80,000-person county, says his office “doesn’t do COVID deaths.” He does not investigate deaths himself, and requires families to provide proof of a positive COVID-19 test before including it on a death certificate.”
Ohio www.wcpo.com/...
“CINCINNATI — The Ohio Department of Health has spent more than $56,000 on legal bills to fight WCPO to keep the number of nursing home COVID deaths at each facility hidden from the public.”
And for the Defense … Op Ed Wall Street Journal — www.wsj.com/...
Everybody is doing it, don't blame DeSantis blame Cuomo. If everyone is doing it then there is no foul.
