I noted with interest the party-line comment from this morning’s news by Senator Mike Braun (R-IN; Harvard Business School ‘78; 2018 personal finance disclosure listed assets worth between $35 million and $96 million) who told CNN it's hard to vote to convict “when you think the process is flawed in the first place." We can agree to disagree, there. But that is not what will be voted on when the question on impeachment is called; since the Senate has twice rejected this argument and proceeded to trial, that is now moot. This is the real question: What about the merits, Senator? Was this conduct sufficient to impeach, or not? Do you believe that Presidents should be allowed to gather, incite, and not stop a mob from violently attacking Congress, the Vice President and police, in order to prevent an election result?
